Yep! It is a Gift I got from my "friend" on my birthday that I asked for. Haha, how silly! I'm a bad friend.
I'm not greedy, but I knew things would come to an end soon. So I just wanted something to remember her by. I remember we used to pick up small arguments every other day, like a fun ritual. It's in the past.
She didn't pick up any random thing; she gave the perfect one.
Well, we had our own path to walk on. That I don't think those ever going to cross in the future. She wanted to start life, and I wanted to have one of the best engineering startups of my own. Every day forward I'm more closer to it. Well, a small or greater sacrifice has to be made. Good thing is I'm not afraid of it anymore.
I learned from Harvey Spector, "Life is best when you keep the voice from the Heart and Mind separated. Might thus listen to Mind more often."
We get very busy in our own lives. We often forget that we also have someone waiting for us, just to hear our voice and ask about the day. But living far away, it's hard to keep up with. But sparing 10 minutes every once in a while is not too hard.
These little things we keep to remember them. A person, A trip you had, your first win, or something else. It may or may not have price value to others, but it's priceless to me.
We will never meet again, but I will remember.
It was many years ago, still it is the only gift given to me so far in all 25 years.
